Extension of mandatory road tolls in Germany

Since 01.07.2024, vehicles with a technically permissible total mass of 3.5 tons have also been subject to tolls for the use of freeways in Germany. Around 330,000 vehicles are affected by the extension of the toll obligation to smaller vehicles. Direct journeys and special journeys will be approx. 4% more expensive.
