Commercial registration

Unilogistics AG entered the commercial register Switzerland on 19.02.2009 and started their operating activities. Immediately after its founding, Unilogistics became a member of IATA, Groupement Fer, the networks HTFN (until today) and WCA (until 2012) as well as in various industry associations.

2010

New office space

Move to new office space at Pier 14 in Birsfelden/Basel

2011

Realignment

A milestone of the young company is the complete reorientation with a target system as well as revision of the company / personnel / and portfolio policy.

2012

New CEO: Thomas Rüegger

Thomas Ruegger takes over Unilogistics AG as CEO and new owner. In the field of European Cargo Unilogistics becomes a member of a strong surface network in Fulda/Germany.

2013

FOCA certification

BAZL certification (Federal Office for Civil Aviation), ISO 9001:2008 certification, memberships at ASTAG, NSH / HWS, the Chamber of Commerce and the Swiss Employers' Association. A new customs software system has been implemented.

2014

Board of Directors: SPEDLOGSWISS NSW

Award for communication at the partner conference in Panama City. Successful election into the exclusive board of SPEDLOGSWISS, the Swiss Forwarder Association.

2015

AWARD HTFN-Conference in Singapore

New AWARD at the HTFN conference in Singapore. Expansion of the business as logistics partner Swiss mechanical engineers. New server and software for IT.

2016

AWARD HTFN-Conference in New York

AWARD HTFN at the conference in New York. Expansion of the business as a logistics partner of the most important Swiss beverage retailers. New hardware for IT periphery and telephony via cloud.

2017

AWARD HTFN-Conference in Dublin

AWARD HTFN conference in Dublin. Large expansion of the national (own) and international (contract driver) vehicle fleet.

2018

New office space

AWARD HTFN conference in Dubai (advertising). End of March move to larger, completely new, ergonomic office space / and products at Pier 14 Birsfelden / Basel. Using acoustic elements as part of the set up a pleasant working atmosphere was achieved, whilst also enabling optimal spatial separation.Thanks to a large selection of colors, the elements perfectly match the corporate identity. In addition to that other ergonomic improvements were implemented: New air conditioning, goods lift, meeting room, training room, IT room and an interim storage room.

2019

«Family Network»

Two AWARDS at HTFN Conference in Miami. Unilogistics AG has developed into a modern family network. The owner family benefits from the connections between two generations, of great employees and customers. Each seeing the other as a partner. At the same time, the young company is celebrating its 10th anniversary with new goals and specifications for the logistics market. New goals, skills, processes and specifications for the logistics market 2025 are being drafted.

2022

Global pandemic and war

Enough of the stories. Nothing came to goals and targets. Two incredible events threatened to turn the whole world upside down. The global pandemic and the war in Ukraine. We humbly work in our safe environment and feel connected to people and destinies around the world; small and trivial are suddenly all systems, processes, strategies and future analyzes.

Our new homepage goes live.

2024

Generation change CEO

Deborah Rüegger is the new CEO. Thomas Rüegger will remain loyal to the company as chairman. In addition, the new SCOPE operating system gives the daily routine more momentum. With additional functions, it not only impresses the team, but also customers and partners.
